corroding so i got them exchanged for the tarmacs unfortunately the company would not exchange the brand new alloy i had just got so kept it as a full size spare but never used 150 Autobahn 88 fmic full kit with hard pipes silicon joiners and jubilee clips insrtuctions and Autobahn stencil for intercooler brand new in box and never used 270

How do i find the specific heat of this alloy?
Q. Heres the question When 267.0 of an alloy, at 18 C are dropped into 100 g of water the alloy absorbs 678 J of heat. if the final temperature of the alloy is 77.0 C. what is its Specific heat. so in the question where it says 100.0 g of water it is not needed to solve the problem?

A. Q = m Cp dT Cp = Q / (m dT) = 678 J / (267.0g x 59.0 C) = 0.0430 J/g C *** exactly. but you should keet this in mind. The temp of the water must have been higher than 77 C. since the heat capacity of water = 4.184J/gC.. the initial water temp must have been. Q = m Cp dT Tf = 678J / (100g x 4.184J/gC) + 77C = 78.6 degrees probably part II of the problem. And if that number had turned out to be > 100 C (the boiling pt of water), there may have been something wrong with the data
