With reference to science and academic disciplines, discovery is the observation of new phenomena, new actions, or new events and providing new reasoning to explain the knowledge gathered through such observations with previously acquired knowledge from abstract thought and everyday experiences. "put their body behind their punches" when they punch. As a result the punch is a lot stronger than if you were to just swing your arms. Who discovered this? A human being instinctively just swing their arm wildly when in a fight so someone must have discovered this unnaturally movement. Correction: Energy is not created but taken from the ground when in a stance and rotating the body when punching. Also, I doubt that caveman were smart enough to figure this out. Q. Suppose that you had never seen any abusive tendencies towards you, but you discovered that he/she had emotionally or physically abused a past girlfriend (or wife, or boyfriend, or husband)? I know people say that abusers never change, BUT if he wasn't being abusive towards me, wasn't showing any signs then either it hasn't come to a head yet or he got therapy and rehab and changed.
